Hello,



I would like to share with you my interview experience with one of the most reputed IT firm in Telecom sector i.e."Amdocs"



It was on 29th January 2011 Amdocs visited our college for Campus recruitment.



Starting off with the selection procedure first round was a written test round. About 120 students appeared for this round and only 21 were selected for the next round and luckily i was one of them.



Talking About Written test Paper consists of following section.

1.Unix

2.C/Java

3.English

4.Aptitude

5.Data Interpretation

6.SQL

In the entire Question paper there were around 105 questions

You have to complete the test in the time frame allocated to that particular test.

There were no negative marking.



During my written i concentrated mainly on C while English,Aptitude and data interpretation were easy. Toughest section was of Unix and SQL there were some very complex question related to these topic



My personal Advice is that even if you are not clear with your SQL and UNIX then also if you have scored good in other section and just managed to do some in these two section you would get selected for the next round.



My interview was scheduled at 2pm and it almost started on time with Three interviewers starting it off with their introduction and then drilling deep and trying to capture my knowledge about C , java , SQL. They asked me to write code of BST and few more coding question then since i wrote in my resume my subject as data structure network and OS they started asking me question related to that. In network they asked me about layers then in real time scenario they asked me about how does your Mobile network knows you are roaming and some more question like this. Then they started asking me about my project.



Explaining them about my work in my project and concept of program was the toughest task. my Technical interview continued for almost 90mins.





After the Technical interview i was sent for HR interview. HR interview was cool he just discuss with me about my self about my future plans and expectation from Amdocs.



After the HR interview I waited outside and was eager to hear the good news as I was almost certain that I would be able to clear this as my interview went of pretty well.

Finally i was selected
